Firstly, entry to Sentosa is now free till Dec 31, 2015 if you enter on foot. As I have previously explained, there is a series of travelators that will greatly minimize the amount of walking you'll actually have to do to enter Sentosa for free (the distance is also pretty short, ~500m).
The egg hunt is a traditional part of the Easter celebrations. This year, Sentosa is organizing a giant egg hunt that will award prizes to the dedicated early birds. Participants have to download an app, The Great Egg-Venture 2015, to register and begin playing. 100 giant eggs are scattered all over Sentosa and prizes are awarded to the first X participants who find at least 18/28/38/etc eggs (and in increments of 10 thereafter) and take a selfie with the eggs. The prizes start at $20 dining/gift vouchers and scale all the way up overnight stays at some of the Sentosa hotels (the first X people to score Y eggs will win the prizes, so it's better to get a head start). Cash prizes up to $5000 may be won by luck too.
The egg hunt runs from March 21 through April 5, 2015. Good hunting!
