Easter Egg Hunt with Prizes at Sentosa
Firstly, entry to Sentosa is now free till Dec 31, 2015 if you enter on foot. As I have previously explained, there is a series of travelators that will greatly minimize the amount of walking you'll actually have to do to enter Sentosa for free (the distance is also pretty short, ~500m).
The egg hunt is a traditional part of the Easter celebrations. This year, Sentosa is organizing a giant egg hunt that will award prizes to the dedicated early birds. Participants have to download an app, The Great Egg-Venture 2015, to register and begin playing. 100 giant eggs are scattered all over Sentosa and prizes are awarded to the first X participants who find at least 18/28/38/etc eggs (and in increments of 10 thereafter) and take a selfie with the eggs. The prizes start at $20 dining/gift vouchers and scale all the way up overnight stays at some of the Sentosa hotels (the first X people to score Y eggs will win the prizes, so it's better to get a head start). Cash prizes up to $5000 may be won by luck too.
The egg hunt runs from March 21 through April 5, 2015. Good hunting!
For more details, check out the Egg-Venture website.

Chingay @ Heartlands 2015
The Chingay Parade this year is being held on a larger than usual scale due to the SG50 celebrations. For the uninitiated, the Chingay is a massive street parade held in celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Each weekend in March, there will be 1-2 Heartlands Chingay Parade. It's not clear whether the program is different from the actual Chingay Parade that was not free and was held Feb 27-28 at the F1 pit building. For the rest of March, there are 2 more parades:
Neighborhood: West Coast GRC & Pioneer
Date: March 21, 2015 (Saturday)
Time: 6 - 10:30pm
Neighborhood: Nee Soon GRC
Date: March 28, 2015 (Saturday)
Time: 6:30 - 10:00pm
The parade routes are available from the official website: Chingay

Yoga In the Gardens 2015
This sounds kind of cool, except you may need to buy or borrow a yoga mat if you don't already own one.
True Yoga is organizing a free morning yoga session at Gardens by the Bay. It's such a cool location that as a non-yoga person I'm tempted to go. I think it would be cool if they could make this a weekly activity. I guess if you don't do yoga, you may be able to stand around to watch the crowd.
Date: May 10, 2015 (Sunday)
Time: 8 - 9am (Goodie bag collection 9 - 10am)
Venue: SuperTree Grove, Gardens by the Bay
Registration required. RSVP by April 30, 2015 at the official website: Yoga in the Gardens

To look out for: Fashion Steps Out
Once a year (since the first event in 2010), Orchard Road gets turned into a giant runway for a free outdoor fashion show. I'm looking forward to this, but it looks like the official website still hasn't been updated from 2014. All that is available on the internet right now is that the Fashion Steps Out will happen for 6 weeks some time April - May 2015. I hope the organizers release information soon.
